Who we are
This notice is issued by Vanguard Oceanic Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16302516, registered office: Unit A 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE. We are the UK company of Vanguard Oceanic, supplying marine products and engineering support.
What we collect
Buyer enquiry form: your name, company, email address, phone number, country, product of interest and the quantity or details you provide. Supplier enquiry form: contact name, company name, email address, phone number, WeChat ID, company website, city or province, products manufactured, export markets and your message. We also record which language you used on the site.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, to assess potential suppliers, and to manage any resulting business relationship. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and your consent as given in the form.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years, after which they are deleted unless an ongoing business relationship requires us to retain them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. Your details may be shared within the Vanguard Oceanic group, including our Hong Kong office, where needed to respond to your enquiry, and with service providers who host our website, database and email systems, under appropriate safeguards. Where data is transferred outside the UK we rely on appropriate safeguards required by UK GDPR.
Your rights
